317 New Livery Unveiled

Updated: Aug 3

After the 317 farewell in July 2022, The only publicly accessible Class 317 in the country is now the DTSO of 317345, saved by our friends at the East Anglian Railway Museum.

As a group with many ties to EMUs, We were keen to support the museum in its endeavours to preserve a key part of the history of commuting and electric units. With collaboration between ourselves, the EARM and the Network South East society, we are proud to reveal the vehicle is now in its original Network South East livery, complete with “West Anglia” branding.

In time we plan to work with the EARM to transform the interior into a series of exhibitions and displays telling the story of these units and the role they played, serving millions of Commuters for nearly 40 years.

Watch this space for more details in the future!
